University is the most important organisation for an country. We all want know top university list for better education. For that reason as a Bangladeshi we want to know the name of Top 10 University Lists. Now we describe the Top University Bangladesh Ranking 2021 list. We select top university over some selective criteria. Here we show that criteria for you;

  1. Being licensed, accredited or chartered by the appropriate Bangladeshi higher education-related organization.
  2. At least 4 years undergraduate degrees or postgraduate degress.
  3. Successfully complete predominantly in a traditional, fae to face and non distance education format.

We just try to make a list of top bangladeshi university based on valid, unbiased and noninfluenceable.

  1. Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology BUET)

Bangladesh university of engineering technology is a public university in Bangladesh, which focuses on the study of engineering and architecture. Founded in 1876 as Dhaka Survey School, it is the oldest institution for the study of engineering, architecture and urban planning in Bangladesh.The university campus is located at the Palashi area of Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.

 

             2. University of Dhaka (DU)

University of Dhaka (also known as Dhaka University or DU) is the oldest university in Bangladesh. Nawab Bahadur Sir Khwaja Salimullah, who played a pioneering role in establishing the university in Dhaka, donated 600 acres of land from his estate for this purpose.[4] On the first day of July 1921 the University of Dhaka opened its doors to students with Sir P.J. Hartog as the first Vice-Chancellor of the University in British Raj, it has made significant contributions to the modern history of Bangladesh. After the Partition of India, it became the focal point of progressive and democratic movements in Pakistan. Its students and teachers played a central role in the rise of Bengali nationalism and the independence of Bangladesh in 1971. Currently there are nearly 153 teachers, 10 officers, 58 employees and nearly 6100 students under the faculty and the departments are as following.

              3. BRAC University

Brac University (Bengali: ব্র্যাক বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, also known as BracU) is a private student-centered and research university in Dhaka. In 2018 and 2019, QS Asia Rankings ranked BracU best private university in Bangladesh. Sir Fazle Hasan Abed founded Brac University in 2001, under the Private University Act.[2] Located at 66 Mohakhali, Dhaka, the university is based on the American liberal arts college model. Brac University began with three departments and around 80 students in 2001.[3] It held its first Convocation in January 2006. Initially, it offered a limited number of Bachelor’s degrees.[4] As the university grew, it increased the number of programs and introduced Master’s degrees.[5] The development of a library with high academic standards was important to Sir Abed. The Ayesha Abed Library was digitized shortly after its inception.[6] The university had 11,200 students in 20 schools, departments, and institutes in 2020. The construction of a new campus will be completed in January 2023.

               4. Daffodil International University

Daffodil International University (DIU; Bengali: ড্যাফোডিল আন্তর্জাতিক বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়) is a private university located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The original campus is located at Dhanmondi and the permanent campus is located in Daffodil Smart City, Khagan, Ashulia, Savar which is in Dhaka district. It was established on 24 January 2002 under the Private University Act of 1992 which was replaced by Private University Act 2010.[2] According to QS University Rankings: Asia 2021, DIU is a top-ranked private university among all the universities in Bangladesh.[3] DIU placed 1st among universities ranked from Bangladesh in Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2021.[4] DIU is the first university in Bangladesh to have signed the UN’s Commitment to Sustainable Practices of Higher Education Institutions.[5] According to the SCOPUS indexed research publications in 2019, Daffodil International University has been positioned 4th among all universities and 1st among all private universities in Bangladesh.[6] The original campus is located at Dhanmondi and the permanent campus is located in Daffodil Smart City, Khagan, Ashulia, Savar which is in Dhaka district. The university campus covers about 125 acres of land with playgrounds, auditorium, basketball court, food court, gymnasium, swimming pool, innovation lab, artificial fountain, golf course, hostel, staff quarter, and other facilities.[8]

               5. North South University

North South University (Bengali: নর্থ সাউথ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় [nortʰ sautʰ biʃʃobiddalɔe̯], also known as NSU) is a privately funded research university in Bangladesh. Its business school is also the first in Bangladesh to receive American accreditation from the ACBSP in 2015.[3]

The university’s campus is located at Bashundhara Residential Area in Dhaka. It is one of the largest private universities in Bangladesh, in terms of student population. The foundation of the campus was laid on 30 January 2003 by Begum Khaleda Zia.[4] Classes started in the permanent campus from 9 June 2009.[5] This campus can serve up to 12,000 students with amenities and facilities. It contains six buildings with three basements on seven acres of land having 1,250,000 square feet of floorspace.[6]

               6. National University, Bangladesh

The National University of Bangladesh is a parent university of Bangladesh that was established by an Act of Parliament as an affiliating University of the country to impart graduate and post-graduate level education to the students through its affiliated colleges and professional institutions throughout the country.

The University of Rajshahi, also known as Rajshahi University or RU Bengali: রাজশাহী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়. The university’s 60 departments are organised into ten faculties. Rajshahi University is in a 305-hectare (753-acre) campus in Motihar, 3 kilometres (2 mi) from the Rajshahi city centre.
